Come and "Run for a Reason." The reason is to provide scholarships in memory of Josh Teegarden at Johnson University. On July 27, 2004, Josh Teegarden was killed while serving on the mission field at Christ Camp for the Blind in Rockcastle County, KY. Josh was preparing to return to Johnson Bible College, now Johnson university, for his senior year. He was majoring in Missions and Ministry. In memory of his life here on earth, his family and friends are combining two of the things Josh loved the most: running and missions. The "Josh Teegarden Memorial 5K Run/Walk" will be held on September 23, 2017 at Johnson University. Registration starts at 8:00am and the race will start at 9:00am. The entry fee is $25.00 per participant. All who register will receive a t-shirt. Awards will be given to the top female and male racers in eight categories, along with special awards in two other categories. We will have a Compassion Ministry Fair in the foyer during the month of October. "Booths" will be set up to highlight The Prom of the Stars, C.A.R.E. Food Pantry, Senior Meals, Intertwined, and our Nursery. Visit these "booths" to learn more about these ministries and opportunities to to serve in them.

Did you know that we have an online directory? Fill out an FCC Office Information form to be included. When the office lets you know that you are on the Directory, go to farragutcc.com and click on "Members" under the "Who We Are" dropdown menu. Scroll down and you will find a link to the directory. In the directory page enter your name as First.Last both capitalized (i.e. Joe.Smith) and then the password Jesusislove. If you have never signed on before it should prompt your to change your password. After you have gone online, you can also download an app for your phone, search for Simple Church. If you would like to be included in the directory see Dena Cunningham for the consent form to complete. If you are already in the directory and haven't included a photo of yourself, we ask that you do (or send a picture to Dena) to help others in our congregation put a name to a face.

During the second quarter of 2017, KARM stores received 55 donations from those connected to Farragut Christian Church!! We received $310 in gift cards to share with those we know in need! Please continue to mention FCC when you make a donation at KARM stores. Volunteer hours also goes toward gift cards that we may receive to help others.
We offer to those who can't get to church, personal car transportation on the first Sunday of every month. Call the church office on the Friday before that Sunday to reserve your ride.
Home Repair & Maintenance Ministry is a ministry dedicated to helping those who need help with their home repairs. It is targeted to those who cannot do the work themselves or cannot afford to pay someone to do the work. Volunteers can signup at the Sign Up Center. If you need these services, you can call the church office or contact John Barncord at 207-5208 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
CARE Food Pantry provides food for families in the Farragut area. Most of the families are single parent homes and the elderly. Many of these families come every month. Please help us keep the pantry stocked by donating the food items of the week.

Student Ministry Service Day with Operation Backyard is Saturday, October 7. We will meet at the church at 8:00am and work from 9:00am - 3:00pm. Students will need to wear clothes they can work in and pack a sack lunch. Get all the details here.
Our Annual Student Camp-out will be October 21-22 at Gee Creek on the shores of the Hiawassee River. We will tent camp in a large group site. Our adventures include hiking, rock climbing/rappelling, smores and more. Cost is $40. Get all of the details here.
New waiver and release forms are now available on the Student Ministry page of our website. Each student will need a waiver for any off campus event. The waiver is good for everything we do this year unless a venue requires a separate one. Once the waiver is filled please return to Kenny.

Life Groups - Wednesdays. Our goal is to help students process life events through the lens of God's word. Middle School students will meet at the Sealey's house from 6:00-7:30pm. The High School students will meet at the church from 7:00-8:30pm. Call the church office if you need directions.
Student Worship - Sundays 5:00-6:30pm. The high school and middle school students meet together to enjoy snacks, play challenging group games, and learn more about what it means to follow Christ.
Work projects needed to help students raise funds. Contact the office if have any work you need done.
October 29 will be our Maker Fun Fest Trunk or Treat! Come enjoy hay rides, caramel apples, hot chocolate, a story corner and lots of CANDY! It is not too early to start planning your trunk now! Prizes will be awarded for trunks that are: Most Creative, Most Biblical, Makerific, and HUH?!
Our Mother's Day Program has 2 openings in their PreK class. Paperwork is available at our Welcome Center kiosk.
