The following donations are needed for our all-church Christmas Project on December 15:
A clearly marked donation box is located next to the Kid's Check-In Station for all donations. Monetary gifts will be accepted via online here or a check with "Christmas Project" written on the memo line.

Save the date, Sunday, December 15 at 6:00pm for our Christmas Project. This event is designed for the whole family but we will provide a nursery/preschool option for those who wish to use it. We will pack food packets for a Christian School in Haiti and fill goodie bags sewn by our own sewing ministry for Compassion Closet for foster children going into a new home. Everyone (including nursery and preschool kids) will gather in the Sanctuary from 6:45-7:00pm for a time of worship. We will follow that time with our annual finger food reception. Please bring your favorite finger food to share.

Information on the Building Revision is available at the Sign Up Center. Forms expressing your approval or concerns are also available and can be anonymous and turned in by the offering plate. If you would like to make a new commitment to the Building fund, cards for that are available at the Sign Up Center as well.
The Deacons have established an email address for you to be able to contact them about issues with the building or any other help that is needed from the Deacons. Their email address is firstname.lastname@example.org.
A 2019 Reading Through The Bible Plan is available in the Welcome Center kiosk. You can also find the plan online at https://thebibleproject.com. Scroll down towards the bottom to the Read The Bible In One Year section. You can download the plan, get the app, read daily scriptures or watch videos from there.
FCC is offering free access to RightNow Media which is a huge, streaming, online, access on any device library of over 10,000 video Bible studies, leadership videos, kids shows and more. Kind of like the Netflix of Bible study videos. Theses videos can provide help with parenting, marriage, discipleship, and more. There is something for all stages of life. We encourage you join and to share with your family members. If you received an invitation (probably from Aaron Brunsman) we encourage to take advantage of this offer. If you did not receive an invitation and are interested, please contact the church office and we will add your email address or go here now.
As our Building Commitment phase begins to wind down, we ask that as you give to the Building Project you indicate "building pledge" in the memo line of your check or online giving. If you have any questions concerning the building project, Jason would be happy to meet with you; just call the church or send Jason an email at email@example.com.
The Library added new books in November! Dena has pulled books related to our annual theme of Grace. See the new books here or visit the library.
Did you know that we have an online directory? Fill out an FCC Office Information form to be included. When the office lets you know that you are on the Directory, go to farragutcc.com and click on "Members" under the "Who We Are" drop down menu. Scroll down and you will find a link to the directory. In the directory page enter your name as First.Last both capitalized (i.e. Joe.Smith) and then the password Jesusislove. If you have never signed on before it should prompt your to change your password. After you have gone online, you can also download an app for your phone, search for Simple Church. If you would like to be included in the directory see Dena Cunningham for the consent form to complete. If you are already in the directory and haven't included a photo of yourself, we ask that you do (or send a picture to Dena) to help others in our congregation put a name to a face.

Follow along with the sermon on your smartphone or tablet. Each Sunday Jason will post a live event on the YouVersion Bible app. The live event will include places to take notes and scripture used during the sermon. On Tuesday, November 19 we will be going to Second Harvest in Maryville to help with repackaging cereal/food, which Second Harvest then delivers to various organizations. There will be no heavy lifting and chairs will be available if needed. You will need to wear CLOSED TOED SHOES and they suggest bringing a jacket or sweater as the warehouse can get a little cool. The bus will leave at 12:15pm. Our shift is from 1-4pm and we will eat and fellowship at the new Buddy's BBQ in Maryville afterwards. Their Tuesday special is a pork/chicken/ham dinner with two sides and a drink for $5.99! Please sign up at the Sign Up Center.
A Christmas Carol at Clarence Brown Theater ~ Saturday, December 14. We will attend the 7:30pm showing and the cost is $30 per person payable to Becky Hall or James Oliver. The deadline to sign up and pay for this event is THIS Sunday, November 17. The church bus has been reserved for this event and will cost $2 per person payable at the event. The 55+ Eclectic Workshop Group is invited to Carolyn Goff's home on Wednesday, December 18 at 2pm for a get-together. Bring a Christmas goody (cookies, tea sandwiches, cake or Christmas treat, etc.) to share.

We have many opportunities for men to serve at FCC. If you would be interested in serving or preparing communion on Sunday morning, please contact Dick Coombs or call the church office. If you are interested in being on our walking patrol during worship service on Sunday morning please contact Dale Davis or the church office.
Join us for a Women's Breakfast and Ornament Exchange on Saturday, November 23 from 9-11:30am. Breakfast and refreshments will be provided. Bring a wrapped ornament ($5 or less) for an ornament exchange. If you want to get crafty, handmade ornaments are encouraged! Please sign up at the Sign Up Center.

Small group Bible Studies resume:
- Wednesday morning study resumed August 21. They meet weekly in the Youth Room from 9-11am. Childcare is available. They will be studying Twelve Women of the Bible: Life-Changing Stories for Women Today. You can get more information on the Women's Ministry page, Facebook or contact April Jones.
- Tuesday evening study resumed September 24. They meet every other week in the Library at 6:00pm. They will study Knowing God's Word from the Women of Faith series. You can get more information on the Women's Ministry page, Facebook or contact Margaret Rosenbalm.
Do you know someone in need that could use a KARM gift card, a bike, or a coat this winter? During the third quarter of 2019, KARM stores received 65 donations from those connected to Farragut Christian Church!! We received $240 in gift cards (plus the remaining gift cards from last quarter) to share with those we know in need! We also have received several bike tickets and coat tickets that can be used to "purchase" these items at KARM. Contact Dena if you know of anyone. Please continue to mention FCC when you make a donation at KARM stores. Volunteer hours also goes toward gift cards that we receive to help others.

Our C.A.R.E. Food Pantry helps feed over 40 families in our local community each month. The food is either donated by you, members of FCC and other friends of the church, or it is purchased through Second Harvest and local grocery stores. Well over 90% of the food we distribute is purchased. The Food Pantry funding is not part of the church budget. In the past, money has been graciously donated by FCC members and friends of the church to support this ministry. Right now this ministry is in need of funds to buy food to adequately stock the pantry. Please prayerfully consider giving a regular monetary donation in addition to to the items listed each week to help support this valuable and important ministry.

We offer to those who can't get to church, personal car transportation on the first Sunday of every month. Call the church office on the Friday before that Sunday to reserve your ride.
Home Repair & Maintenance Ministry is a ministry dedicated to helping those who need help with their home repairs. It is targeted to those who cannot do the work themselves or cannot afford to pay someone to do the work. If you need these services, you can call the church office or contact John Barncord at 207-5208 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
CARE Food Pantry provides food for families in the Farragut area. Most of the families are single parent homes and the elderly. Many of these families come every month. Please help us keep the pantry stocked by donating the food items of the week. These are items that we can not purchase at Second Harvest.

FCC collects used cell phones and accessories to donate to a women's crisis center. You can place your donations in the basket in CARE Food Pantry cart.
A Fund has been established to help Mark Russell with living expenses. If you would like to help with that expense, please put “Mark Russell” in the memo line of your check.
Parents, Small Groups and Friends ~ Every Sunday night we begin youth group with food and fellowship. There is something special that happens when you get people together to eat. Would you consider providing food for a Sunday night? Some nights we have a full meal provided by a single person or group and on other nights we have a few people brings sides. Anything is appreciated and valuable to the youth ministry. You can sign up and get details here.
Student Ministry Parent Meeting is December 1 during the Sunday School hour in the Youth Room.
We are changing it up this year...Our Student Ministry Christmas Dinner will be combined with a game night here at the church on Sunday, December 8 from 5-7pm. Join us for dinner, desserts, games, prizes, and a Lumber Jack and Lumber Jill contest (the one wearing the most flannel wins!)

Life Groups - Wednesdays. Our goal is to help students process life events through the lens of God's word. Middle School students will meet at the Sealey's house from 6:00-7:30pm. The High School students will meet at the church from 7:00-8:30pm. Call the church office if you need directions.
Student Worship - Sundays 4:30-6:30pm. The high school and middle school students meet together to enjoy snacks, play challenging group games, and learn more about what it means to follow Christ.
New waiver and release forms are now available on the Student Ministry page of our website. Each student will need a waiver for any off campus event. The waiver is good for everything we do this year unless a venue requires a separate one. Once the waiver is filled please return to Kenny.
Parents, please add yourself to the new Farragut Christian Church Student Ministry Facebook group. Kenny will regularly add upcoming announcements, pictures, and information. Work projects needed to help students raise funds. Contact the office if have any work you need done.
Elementary age kids are invited to the Nutcracker Ballet in Oak Ridge on November 24. The is a 12 kid max capacity so see Randi asap if you are interested. We will leave after morning service and return in time for evening programming. Bring money for lunch and any souvenirs you may want.
