Every Sunday throughout the month of February we will have SuperStart! Breakfast Fundraisers from 8:30-9:30am. This is a great way for our 4th & 5th graders to earn money to be applied toward their SuperStart! trip. Please consider helping them again this year and enjoy a yummy breakfast! Cost is $5 per person/$25 max per family.

Starting this Sunday we have hired an off duty Police Officer to provide security on Sunday mornings. While we are not aware of any threats, we thought it best to be proactive in regards to our congregation's safety.
The deacons have organized a workday at the church for February 24 from 9:00am - 12:30pm. They will provide a light breakfast/coffee and lunch.
A new 2018 Reading Through The Bible Plan is available in the Welcome Center kiosk. You can also find the plan online at https://thebibleproject.com. Scroll down towards the bottom to the Read The Bible In One Year section. You can download the plan, get the app, read daily scriptures or watch videos from there.

Did you know that we have an online directory? Fill out an FCC Office Information form to be included. When the office lets you know that you are on the Directory, go to farragutcc.com and click on "Members" under the "Who We Are" dropdown menu. Scroll down and you will find a link to the directory. In the directory page enter your name as First.Last both capitalized (i.e. Joe.Smith) and then the password Jesusislove. If you have never signed on before it should prompt your to change your password. After you have gone online, you can also download an app for your phone, search for Simple Church. If you would like to be included in the directory see Dena Cunningham for the consent form to complete. If you are already in the directory and haven't included a photo of yourself, we ask that you do (or send a picture to Dena) to help others in our congregation put a name to a face.

Follow along with the sermon on your smartphone or tablet. Each Sunday Jason will post a live event on the YouVersion Bible app. The live event will include places to take notes and scripture used during the sermon. We have many opportunities for men to serve at FCC. If you would be interested in serving communion or being on our walking patrol during worship service on Sunday morning, please contact Dick Coombs, call the church office or fill out an interest card at the Sign Up Center.
Did you know that there are Mom's Prayer Groups that pray for your child's school? If you would be interested in joining a prayer group we have information at our Sign Up Center.

Communion Prep Sign Up for 2018 is at the Sign Up Center. We need individuals, families, groups, etc. to prepare communion each month. There are just 3 spots left.
Ladies or couples, are you looking for a way to live out your faith and serve Jesus? Intertwined, a refugee sewing co-op based at FCC, has women who want to become artisans and the only thing holding them back is childcare and transportation. See Sandy Bumbalough for more details.
Save your receipts from Cedar Springs Christian Store and donate them to the library. Cedar Springs will give 10% of the total in free books to the library! You can leave the receipts in the library or give to Dena Cunningham.

During the third quarter of 2017, KARM stores received 51 donations from those connected to Farragut Christian Church!! We received $220 in gift cards to share with those we know in need! Please continue to mention FCC when you make a donation at KARM stores. Volunteer hours also goes toward gift cards that we may receive to help others.
We offer to those who can't get to church, personal car transportation on the first Sunday of every month. Call the church office on the Friday before that Sunday to reserve your ride.
Home Repair & Maintenance Ministry is a ministry dedicated to helping those who need help with their home repairs. It is targeted to those who cannot do the work themselves or cannot afford to pay someone to do the work. Volunteers can signup at the Sign Up Center. If you need these services, you can call the church office or contact John Barncord at 207-5208 or email@example.com.
CARE Food Pantry provides food for families in the Farragut area. Most of the families are single parent homes and the elderly. Many of these families come every month. Please help us keep the pantry stocked by donating the food items of the week. These are items that we can not purchase at Second Harvest.

FCC collects used cell phones and accessories to donate to a women's crisis center. You can place your donations in the basket in CARE Food Pantry cart.
A Fund has been established to help Mark Russell with living expenses. If you would like to help with that expense, please put “Mark Russell” in the memo line of your check.
This summer our youth will be serving with a local church in Belize on a week long mission trip. We are partnering with a mission organization called Praying Pelican. The heart of the organization is to connect the local church on a global level. You can find out more about this ministry here. This trip is for upcoming 9th-12th graders and middle school students accompanied by an adult. The trip is slated for the week of July 7th. To donate to the trip go to this page.
ONE - On Sunday, February 18 the local area Christian Church youth groups will combine at West Towne Christian Church for night of unified worship and praise.

New waiver and release forms are now available on the Student Ministry page of our website. Each student will need a waiver for any off campus event. The waiver is good for everything we do this year unless a venue requires a separate one. Once the waiver is filled please return to Kenny.
Parents, please add yourself to the new Farragut Christian Church Student Ministry Facebook group. Kenny will regularly add upcoming announcements, pictures, and information. We also have an Instagram account where Kenny will weekly add pictures and student announcements. the user name is _fccstudentmin_.
Life Groups - Wednesdays. Our goal is to help students process life events through the lens of God's word. Middle School students will meet at the Sealey's house from 6:00-7:30pm. The High School students will meet at the church from 7:00-8:30pm. Call the church office if you need directions.
Student Worship - Sundays 5:00-6:30pm. The high school and middle school students meet together to enjoy snacks, play challenging group games, and learn more about what it means to follow Christ.
Work projects needed to help students raise funds. Contact the office if have any work you need done.
Just a reminder that all FCC Kids need to be signed in for Sunday morning and Sunday evening activities with a number where you can be reached. This is a safety issue!
