The July Care List is available in your Sunday School class and in the kiosk next to the Welcome Center.

Our C.A.R.E. Food Pantry helps feed over 40 families in our local community each month. The food is either donated by you, members of FCC and other friends of the church, or it is purchased through Second Harvest and local grocery stores. Well over 90% of the food we distribute is purchased. The Food Pantry funding is not part of the church budget. In the past, money has been graciously donated by FCC members and friends of the church to support this ministry. Right now this ministry is in need of funds to buy food to adequately stock the pantry. Please prayerfully consider giving a regular monetary donation in addition to to the items listed each week to help support this valuable and important ministry.

Serving opportunities within the church are also available in these areas:

    Coffee Ministry

    Communion Servers

    Walking Patrol

    Communion to Shut-ins

Pickup a list of our ministries in the kiosk next to the Welcome Center to learn more about these and other opportunities.

During the third quarter of 2018, KARM stores received 50 donations from those connected to Farragut Christian Church!! We received $180 in gift cards to share with those we know in need! Please continue to mention FCC when you make a donation at KARM stores. Volunteer hours also goes toward gift cards that we may receive to help others.

We offer to those who can't get to church, personal car transportation on the first Sunday of every month. Call the church office on the Friday before that Sunday to reserve your ride.

Home Repair & Maintenance Ministry is a ministry dedicated to helping those who need help with their home repairs. It is targeted to those who cannot do the work themselves or cannot afford to pay someone to do the work. Volunteers can signup at the Sign Up Center. If you need these services, you can call the church office or contact John Barncord at 207-5208 or jcbarncord@energysolutions.com.

CARE Food Pantry provides food for families in the Farragut area. Most of the families are single parent homes and the elderly. Many of these families come every month. Please help us keep the pantry stocked by donating the food items of the week. These are items that we can not purchase at Second Harvest.

Food Pantry items of the week:

Jelly, Small Cans of Tomato Paste, Canned Pastas like Spaghettios

Food Pantry greeters for July 25:

Paul & Judy Ahrens, Larry & Cathie Sexton

FCC collects used cell phones and accessories to donate to a women's crisis center. You can place your donations in the basket in CARE Food Pantry cart.

A Fund has been established to help Mark Russell with living expenses. If you would like to help with that expense, please put “Mark Russell” in the memo line of your check.
