  • ADULT



    Our Sunday morning service is at 10:30am. We also offer an online service on a live feed that will be available here at 10:30am or later. We encourage you to join a Sunday school class at 9:15am.


    This Sunday Kenny will be speaking on Act 4: Redemption Provided  ~ The Great Story from the Gospels.


    Sunday School Classes:

    ~Scott Warden will be covering Jason's class that meets in the Sanctuary. He is teaching on Exodus.

    ~Mike Morrison's class meets in Room A2. They are currently in Romans.

    ~Ron Schmidt's class, The Art of Parenting meets in room A4.


    Jason is on sabbatical until May 19. Contact the church office with any needs.


    Senior Sunday is May 19. Our graduating High School Seniors will be preaching and participating in the Worship Service on that day. They will also have displays in the foyer which we invite you to visit and to encourage them. We ask that you write them a note of encouragement and give a monetary gift if you feel led. Our 2024 Seniors are Gavin Hurt, Isaak Nussbaum, Ryan Regan, Brevin Swartzentruber, and Kyle Wallis.


    On May 19 we will have a combined adult Sunday school class in the Youth Center. This will provide us an opportunity to have a Pavilion Conversation concerning building a pavilion and the the left over building fund. We want to hear your thoughts! We hope you will join us.


    Our Interns are coming! Our Interns are coming! Our summer interns, Jaxon Bailey and Noah Battenberg, will be here May 25. You can bless them with donations for a Welcome Basket and/or sharing a meal with them. Please bring donation items to Dena Cunningham by Sunday, May 19. Here are the links to sign up for each.

    Mark your calendars for our annual Memorial Day Picnic on May 26 at 5:00pm. FCC will provide the hamburgers and hot dogs with all the fixins'. Please bring a side and/or dessert  to share and a chair as we will eat on the grounds.


    Copies of our 2024 Bible Reading Plans are available at the Sign Up Center and below. We hope that you will choose the one that suits you best and encourage you to use it throughout the year.

    We invite you to download our app and directory.  Here is a short video to help you download it.  You can also use the QR code located throughout the foyer. If you are still having trouble, just give us a call or an email and we can help.  There will also be people available in the foyer to help if needed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20Q-9HFCdTo. On this app you can view upcoming events, link to our online service, view the weekly bulletin, access our online giving and our church directory. Use your phone number to access your profile. There you can update your information and approve what information you want for yourself and your family displayed in the directory. You can add a picture for each member of your family  to your account. You can also send a picture to Dena and she can add it it to your account.


    A list of small groups and the day and time they meet is available here and in the Welcome Center kiosk. If you would like to connect with a group, please contact the office and we will help connect you to a group. Note ~ Small groups will take a break in May for the summer and resume in the fall.

    We have received several questions about the easiest way to set up online giving. Of course you can go to https://farragutcc.com/giving to give. We also want you to know that you can Text To Give. Text to 1-844-407-6015 the amount you want to give and send. You will then receive instructions on how to set up Text To Give.


    FCC travel mugs are available for purchase in the foyer. We are asking for a $10 donation for each cup. We will be giving these mugs to visitors and wanted to make them available to the congregation as well.


    The Deacons have established an email address for you to be able to contact them about issues with the building or any other help that is needed from the Deacons. Their email address is deacons@farragutcc.com.


    Follow along with the sermon on your smartphone or tablet. Each Sunday Jason will post a live event on the YouVersion Bible app. The live event will include places to take notes and scripture used during the sermon. It may also include quotes mentioned, links to websites for more information, and surveys. Here are the steps to get to the event:

    2024 Activity calendars are available in the foyer! You can also get a copy here.


    PLEASE note that this is the last weekend to sign up for this trip! We are planning an overnight trip to the Creation Museum in Petersburg, KY on May 17-18. The Creation Museum is a state-of-the-art venture through biblical history with great exhibits, botanical gardens, and now a planetarium, zoo, and zip-line. Noah's cafe on-site is $13.77 per plate. The senior group rate museum ticket is $40.00 per person. Full payment for all tickets must be paid by May 3. We will ride the church bus or you may drive separately. We will stay  at the Fairfield Inn about 8 miles from the museum. The cost is $159 + tax for a room with 2 queen size beds (great if you want to share the cost) or a room with one king size bed. Once you have signed up for the trip, Peg Kennedy will give you the contact information for the hotel. Any questions please see Peg Kennedy or Diane Oliver.






  • MEN


    A Men's Small Group meets every Thursday at 7am at Einstein Bagels on Campbell Station Road.


    A Men's Small Group meets on Wednesdays at 6:00-7:15pm. They are studying Tozer's Cloud by Day, Fire by Night.


    Come join us at the FCC Chili Cook-off Event! We will meet on the church parking lot THIS Saturday, April 27 from 4-7pm.  Bring your best pot of chili to compete for the FCC Chili-Master. Chili will be judged on flavor, use of heat, and uniqueness. You can also come to taste the chili and fellowship. Kubb tournament will follow the chili competition.


    Men, mark your calendars for a golf outing on June 22 at Dead Horse Golf Course, 2 man scramble. Cost will be $60 per person.

  • WOMEN


    The women have two small group Bible study options:

    ~Bi-weekly Tuesday night @ 6pm

    ~Wednesday night @ 6pm studying Philippians - Chasing Happy by Lori Wilhite.


    Craft Days ~ THIS Friday & Saturday, April 26 & 27. Join other women in the church as we fellowship, work on our craft, and maybe learn something new! We meet in the KidMin Worship Room from 10am until 5pm. We would love to have you join us for one or both days, for the whole day or just a few hours. Bring your own lunch and/or snacks. See Dena Cunningham or Peg Kennedy if you have any questions.

    We are still looking for people or a family to do  Communion Preparation for July 2024 Please sign up in the foyer.


    The Senior Meals ministry is looking for new clients to bless with Saturday meals. The only requirement is that they live locally. See Doris Cole or Dena Cunningham if you know of someone or have any questions.


    We have two volunteer opportunities that are a great way to meet others that attend FCC:

    ~Coffee Station volunteers

    Be part of a prayer team that meets on Sunday mornings and the first Wednesday evening of the month to pray for our church and staff. You can pray for one Sunday a month from 9:15-10:15am OR the first Wednesday of the month from 6-7pm. Contact Angie Davidson or Dena Cunningham if you are interested.


    We also have a group of ladies (Lydia Prayer Group) that meets on Tuesday mornings at 10:00am. If you are interested in this group, please contact Judy Jones.

    Our CARE Food Pantry has the opportunity to provide food for the UT Student Food Pantry! We need the following items to help fulfill their needs: Nature Valley bars, tuna packages (not cans), Easy Mac microwavable cups, and canned fruit. 


    Our CARE Food Pantry is open the 2nd and 3rd Thursday of the month.

    Food Pantry items of the week:

    Cereal, Hamburger Helper, canned chicken, Vienna sausages, canned pastas


    Did you know that when you take your donations to KARM and mention Farragut Christian Church we get KARM gift cards that we can pass along to those in need. We had 145 donations credited to us for March - June 2023. Because of those donations we received $350 in KARM gift cards to hand out to those in need.

    This group is designed for young adults age 18-26 years in or out of college.

  • STUDENTS



    Youth Sunday School ~ 9:15am meet for a time of fellowship and study. Bring your Bible and your own coffee! 


    Wednesday night Youth Group (6th-12th grade) meets from 5:45-7:15 for evenings filled with food, fun, worship and Biblical youth applicable lessons. You can sign up to provide a meal for the youth group here.


    Sunday Night Small Groups meet from 5:00-6:15 at the church.


    On May 10th, our youth will join two other churches for our annual Lock-Out. Lock-outs are similar to lock-ins, except we are away from the church all evening instead of being locked into it.

    11pm-2am @ Main Event (pizza & all activities)

    3:00-7am-  @ Johnson University (dodgeball, swimming, snacks, free time)

    8am- Pickup @ FCC

    Our Sojourn Students* have put together an event for our 6th-7th Graders. The day after school gets out (May 24) we are celebrating by 'Breaking Out’ at a Break Out Room.

    Students will meet at church, head to a break out room, and come back to church for lunch and classic youth group games.

    *Sojourners are a group of students dedicated to leadership, accountability, and spiritual disciplines. One of their projects this semester is to initiate and lead an event.

    Farragut Kids Sunday Night Bible Study meets 5:00-6:15pm.


    Farragut Kids Sunday school meets Sunday mornings from 9:15 - 10:15am.


    Our much anticipated Mini Indy 500 will May 26 @ 5:00pm during our annual Memorial Day Picnic. Bring your bike, trike, scooter to participate. We will ride, race, decorate our mode of transportation and even have a car wash! Don't forget your close-toed shoes and helmet. Invite your friends!


    Our Summer KidMin Reading club, Dive Into Reading! will kick off on Wednesday, May 29 at 6:00pm. Join us on Wednesday evenings through June and July for all the fun! You can still participate even if you can't attend on Wednesdays. See Dena Cunningham or go here for details.


    Summer Christian Camp at Appalachian Christian Camp and Smoky Mountain Christian Camp is RIGHT around the corner and early bird sign-ups have already begun.     SCUBA VBS registrations have begun!! VBS will by July 29 -August 2 from 5:30-8:00pm. You can go here to register your child or sign up to volunteer. The first 50 kids that register will get their own SCUBA drawstring backpack on the first day of VBS!


    Now hiring for Fall 2024 - Mother's Day Out Assistant Teacher

    Mother's Day Out mission is to provide a ministry to parents and preschool children of our community. We strive to create a loving, nurturing, and home-like atmosphere for young children. This is to enable children to feel good about themselves and the world around them. We want each child to experience God's love through loving relationships and happy times.

    We are hiring a Teaching Assistant for our Toddlers Classroom. Position begins Mid-August, with work days Tuesday/Thursday from 8:00am to 2:00pm. This is a paid position. Anyone interested contact Teresa Goff at 865.806.7751 or teresag314@comcast.net.

    • High School graduate
    • Must be flexible, and able to work as a team
    • Able to work with children 2-3 years old
    • Excited and dedicated to helping children learn and grow through play & activities
    • Assist lead teacher in the safety and well being of each child

    • Assist lead teacher with daily operations of classroom activities
    • Assist Mother's Day Out program through being a supportive team member, various teacher tasks, and professional towards staff and families at Mother's Day Out
    • To assist Mother's Day Out staff and families in a positive manner, showing professional courtesies, making sure that our facilities are a warm and inviting environment, and that our best interest is in each child at Mother's Day Out. 


    We need volunteers to help out on Sunday nights! See Randi if you would be willing to help.


    Preschool Worship  and Nursery is available during the 9:15 and 10:30am service.

    ~On Sunday, Check your preschooler/infant/toddler in at the KidMin Check-In Station located in the office foyer. There, your child will receive their name tag/check out tag, and can proceed to their classroom.

    ~PLEASE adhere to our sick policy. If your child is experiencing ANY symptoms of COViD-19 or any other illness, please stay home and enjoy the online option.

    ~DO NOT leave campus.

    ~Please be very prompt in checking out your child. Check out will be at the Preschool/Nursery counter in the foyer.

    ~Be prepared for some separation anxiety with your preschooler. Please keep your phone with you, on silent. If your child struggles getting adjusted in the classroom, we will text you.


    We offer our KidMin Worship at the church at 10:30am. All policies for Preschool Worship will also be in effect for our big kids.
