Since we are not having as many small groups during the holidays, we thought it would be meaningful for you to celebrate the traditional Advent season at home with your family. We are providing you with an explanation of Advent and a guide for your family to celebrate on the Sunday evenings leading up to Christmas. You can pick up the information in the foyer. We will also send it through email or you can get week 1 here.A new Christmas tree for the foyer means new traditions for our church family! Grab one of the pressed wood ornaments in the basket at the Sign Up Center, and put in your family, individual, or couple photo. Write on the ornament your family name and the year (2023). We'll include your ornament on the tree this December and every year. We can't wait to watch how our church GROWS!
On Friday, December 8 at 6:00pm we will have an In His Hands Bereavement Candlelight Prayer Service. This prayer service is open to ALL whose hearts are grieving the loss of a loved one this season. You will have the opportunity to create memorable keepsakes and light a candle in honor of your loved one. Or, you can choose to just sit and allow the Scriptures and prayers surround you. How you participate is up to you.
Mark your calendars for our Family Gathering Christmas Service Project Packing Event on December 10 at 5:00pm. We will meet to hear special music, sing Christmas carols, pack donated items, and enjoy finger foods together (bring a finger food to share). Read more about the Christmas Service Project in the Serve section below.
We invite you to download our app and directory. Here is a short video to help you download it. You can also use the QR code located throughout the foyer. If you are still having trouble, just give us a call or an email and we can help. There will also be people available in the foyer to help if needed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20Q-9HFCdTo. On this app you can view upcoming events, link to our online service, view the weekly bulletin, access our online giving and our church directory. Use your phone number to access your profile. There you can update your information and approve what information you want for yourself and your family displayed in the directory. You can add a picture for each member of your family to your account. You can also send a picture to Dena and she can add it it to your account.
