We are currently offering two services. Both services are open to all but during the first service at 9:15am (Note time change) masks are required. Our second service will be at 10:30am and masks are highly recommended. We are limiting both services to 120 in the Sanctuary and ask if you can attend the first service, please do so as we have been near capacity during the second service. We will have overflow seating for both services if needed. High risk populations should continue to utilize our online services. Remember, there is NO PRESSURE to attend, no one is more or less spiritual. Our online service is on a live feed that will be available here at 10:30am or later.

    2019 Monthly Budget..........$42,083

    Month to Date Giving...........$28,787

    Building Fund...................$1,511,893

The January newsletter has been mailed. You can also get a copy here.

Hopefully everyone has had a chance to read the article in our January newsletter about our Building Campaign Check-in. The leadership is asking the congregation to have a check-in for each individual/family who committed to the building campaign and to allow for any individuals/families weren't able to participate in the beginning to now participate in the campaign. In February, we are asking individuals/families to fill out cards that will be located in the pews to indicate how much of your original or new commitment is to be given in 2021 and 2022. An online option will also be available. We do ask that you only respond using one method. As before, no names will be asked to be given. Please know that we are in  no way discounting the commitments already given. We are so grateful and thankful for those contributions! This exercise is intended to help us understand remaining dollars coming in and some idea of the timing.

We have a new Church app. You can find the app by typing in this website: https://simplegive.ministryone.com/landing/qaaK on your smartphone. This new church app has several different features that we are excited for you to be able to use.

    1. You can look at events that are coming up. Currently you can link to our online service, sermon outline, online Kids Ministry service and our online midweek prayer time.

    2. You can send us a prayer request.

    3. You can access our online directory as well. If you are already on our online directory it moved over automatically. When you are in the app you can add a picture to your account or send one to Dena and she will add the picture.

    4. You can access our online giving through the app.

We have received several questions about the easiest way to set up online giving. Of course you can go to https://farragutcc.com/giving to give. We also want you to know that you can Text To Give. Text to 1-865-224-7077 the amount you want to give and send. You will then receive instructions on how to set up Text To Give.

The 2021 Reading Through The Bible Plan is available at the Welcome Center kiosk. You can also find the plan online at https://thebibleproject.com. Scroll down towards the bottom to the Read The Bible In One Year section. You can download the plan, get the app, read daily scriptures or watch videos from there.

The Deacons have established an email address for you to be able to contact them about issues with the building or any other help that is needed from the Deacons. Their email address is deacons@farragutcc.com.

FCC is offering free access to RightNow Media which is a huge, streaming, online, access on any device library of over 10,000 video Bible studies, leadership videos, kids shows and more. Kind of like the Netflix of Bible study videos. Theses videos can provide help with parenting, marriage, discipleship, and more. There is something for all stages of life. We encourage you join and to share with your family members. If you received an invitation (probably from Aaron Brunsman) we encourage to take advantage of this offer. If you did not receive an invitation and are interested, please contact the church office and we will add your email address or go here now.

We ask that as you give to the Building Project you indicate "building pledge" in the memo line of your check or online giving. If you have any questions concerning the building project, Jason would be happy to meet with you; just call the church or send Jason an email at jason@farragutcc.com.

Follow along with the sermon on your smartphone or tablet. Each Sunday Jason will post a live event on the YouVersion Bible app. The live event will include places to take notes and scripture used during the sermon. It may also include quotes mentioned, links to websites for more information, and surveys. Here are the steps to get to the event:

    Download the YouVersion Bible app:

    Go to "Menu"

Go to "More" at the bottom of the menu

    Go to "Events"

Enter in the Search bar "Farragut"

You can also access the live event from our Church app under Events.

CARE Food Pantry provides food for families in the Farragut area. Most of the families are single parent homes and the elderly. Many of these families come every month. Food Pantry items of the week:

Canned Pasta (like Ravioli and Spaghettios), Hamburger Helper, Ramen Noodles, Jelly, Vienna Sausages, Cereal

To help ensure the safety of our youth during the coming fall semester, the youth ministry will have an indoor mask policy. anytime we meet in the youth room for programs or travel in the church bus we will require masks. Masks are not fun or comfortable, but I am excited that we will have the opportunity to meet in person during the fall. Mask will not only protect our students better but will also ensure that students will be able to participate who would not have been able to do so without them. We will keep monitoring the situation and let you know if there are any changes. Thanks for your patience and grace!

    Ski Retreat 2021 aka SKI-CTC:

~We will continue to offer an online Preschool Worship option for our preschoolers who are staying home.

We offer our KidMin Worship at the church at 10:30am. We are excited to be back in corporate worship together and want each family to know the lengths we are going to help reduce the risk of illness while your kids worship in Farragut Kids.
