Dr Gerald Mattingly will begin teaching Philippians in the Sunday school class located in the Sanctuary. Here is a description of his class: "Although the Apostle Paul's letter to the Christians at Philippi (in the northeast region of modern Greece) is only four chapters long, it contains a wealth of doctrinal and practical material. Paul wrote this great document to his friends to help them have a deeper understanding of Christian faith and practice. We can learn much from it today! Let's begin our study on the first Sunday of October and finish by Christmastime. Our survey will include some background information (geography, history, archaeology), but we'll plan to use most of our time on a verse-by-verse study of the biblical text."
Jason will be teaching the What We Believe Sunday school class in Room A1 beginning October 6. This class is designed for new members, those who regularly attend services, and those who are visiting with us. This class will introduce you to Farragut Christian Church. We ask that you sign up for this class so we can prepare enough materials. You can sign up in the foyer, email Dena or Jason, or call the church office.
Most Family Groups will begin meeting for the fall in September. Check with your family group leader to get details.
