WHEN YOU FIRST ARRIVE...
We strive to use the latest technology to keep your child safe while they learn and play. When you first arrive, follow these instructions for a smooth check-in and quick classroom access.
1- As you enter the building, you will be greeted by one of our volunteers who will guide you to the Farragut Kids' Check-In Station.
2- There, a helpful volunteer will walk you through getting only the important information we need to ensure you can be reached, should your child need you under our care.
3- Follow simple check-in/check-out instructions guided by our Farragut Kids volunteer as you are led to your child's classroom and teacher.
If you have ANY questions, you are welcome to refer back to the Farragut Kids' Check-In Station where a friendly volunteer will be happy to assist you!
SPECIAL NEEDS FRIENDS
We believe that EVERY child is a special part of God's great plan! And, that each child deserves the right to experience that love, including but not limited to, accepting the Gospel. We do our best to accommodate every child in their specific need. We begin with good communication with you, the parent. We do our best to integrate each special friend into the whole classroom experience. Feel free to contact Randi to address any concerns or questions you might have.
PRESCHOOL
When your preschooler (age 2- age 5) worships Jesus with us, you can trust that all of our volunteers have been throughly screened and approved by our church leadership and attend trainings specifically designed with your preschooler in mind.
Your child will enjoy age-appropriate Biblical learning, singing, dancing, creating and worshipping with their preschool friends each Sunday morning (10:30am) and evening (5:00pm spring and fall) in a safe and loving environment.
We know that preschoolers learn through play. Each of our learning opportunities are built around active play and imaginative play. We also know that your child is just starting to learn things like sitting for short amounts of time, simple prayers and quiet play with friends. All of these aspects are included to ensure the opportunity for your child to begin their relationship with Jesus and that it starts on a good foundation.
We know how important your little ones are to you and to Jesus. We consider it a privilege to join along side of you as your child grows closer to Christ.
ELEMENTARY
Your elementary-aged child (grade Kindergarten-5th grade) wants to have fun. It's important to you that they are safe and learning solid Bible truths. We combine the two to create an interactive and creative learning and Worship environment! We combine those key elements with safe and caring volunteers who know how children learn- by having fun through purposeful study, meaningful worship, lasting friendships and intentional service.
Each Sunday, your elementary child will have the opportunity to dig deeper into Scripture as they discover age-appropriate ways to connect Bible truths to their own lives in a small group setting. Kids will also pray for each other, participate in team-building games, and create new, lasting friendships.
This small group time is during our 9:15am Bible Study hour.
Kids' Worship is designed with your child in mind! We start our time off with high-energy and meaningful worship and then move into our Bible truth. The teaching time is combined with an adult leader and media componet that reinforce the main Bible truth. We wrap up our time together with our God Sightings time. It's your child's opportunity to apply the Bible truth to their lives in a tangible way.
Kids' Worship begins at 10:30am.
Sunday Evening Kid Ministry is a more laid back time to dig into God's Word and enjoy time with friends while parents experience Family Groups. Sunday Evening Ministries start at 5:00pm during the spring and fall months.
We know that this time is crucial in your child's Spiritual development. We look forward to the opportunity to partner with you as we... "Direct your child onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it." (Proverbs 22:6)
